Summary

I hold an M.S. from GIST and am currently a Ph.D. student there; I took my B.S. in Computer Science and Technology at Harbin Institute of Technology in China. I am a robotics and computer-vision researcher working on perception that holds up outside the lab. My research centres on multi-modal perception — fusing RGB, infrared and LiDAR so that detection and segmentation survive fog, rain, low light and other adverse conditions — and on dexterous manipulation, where tactile sensing lets a robot hand handle unstructured, previously unseen objects. I am supervised by Prof. Kyoobin Lee at GIST AILAB.
